Margaret Fong has amassed over 25 years of experience in the design industry as a designer and project manager. She has worked with noted designer Donna Livingston as a designer and project manager for 12 years. Prior to that she worked at N.C.I.D.I and Design One in the same capacity. Her experience includes private 12,000 square foot estates, penthouses, high rise condominiums, and commercial ventures including model homes and club houses. As a designer and a project manager, Margaret consults with clients, builders and contractors on every aspect of a project. She develops design concepts for client presentations which entail fabric selections, case goods, upholstery, artwork, and accessories.
She supervises and administers her projects including budget development, trade scheduling and purchase orders. She is a gifted negotiator, has excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills with great attention to detail. Margaret’s matter-of-fact approach is refreshing and her ability to maintain a sense of calm under looming deadlines and excessive pressure is a bonus. Margaret has an excellent eye for every facet of design which translates beautifully to the finished product. She has a keen sense for being cost effective yet she manages to fulfill the client’s desires.
